The OVCO Fundraiser Online Auction opens for bidding at 3pm during our Season Finale concert. In addition to Benjamin Kratchmer's Renaissance lute, other items in the auction include a block-print Jacket by Bonnie Koloc, a painting by Nathan Ketchum (designer of this season's OVCO posters), a Minnesota resort stay, a get away to Lanesboro, MN, very very cute crocheted composer dolls and four tickets to the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra concert. OVCO Opens Season 10 with Mozart, Brahms, & Bruckner
We open our 10th just as we opened our first with Mozart's Overture to Die Zauberflote (The Magic Flute) and end our first half with Brahms' energetic Hungarian Dances 5 & 6. Our opening concert closes with Anton Bruckner's epic 4th Symphony, dubbed "Romantic."
